The Company gives customers special offers in the form of gift coupons with different categorization. They do not have a reporting tool which can summarize and shows the revenue for each type of gift coupon provided and overall revenue. Thus they could not take decision on which type of special offers they should provide in which region to get more profit.

Need For Analytics:

Data visualization can help make sense of information by highlighting patterns and trends and enable retailers to make informed business decisions. Data visualizations allow anyone to organize and present information intuitively. This is becoming more vital as data proliferates in every business field from product sales in retail stores to market sentiment in stocks. All of this data is meaningless without a way to organize and present important findings within it. Generating meaningful insights from the sales data will enable better solutions.

Technical Solution:

Collected data from the company's internal database servers. Picaboo uses CSIX reports to analyze their sales distribution over different products. These reports do not provide visualizations. Using Tableau, we can visualize and analyze the data. We have derived formulas based on the reports that client has to calculate revenue for different categories. We created a dashboard which shows annual and monthly revenue for all the voucher types available in an interactive format.
